About the Journal
The Research Journal of Shia Comparative Theology is a reputable double-blind peer-reviewed and open-access journal, published by Allameh Tabatabai University, a leading institution in the humanities and social sciences in Iran. Established to foster an intellectual environment for both national and international researchers, this journal focuses on significant philosophical and theological issues. It aims to disseminate high-quality articles that present findings on pivotal topics in theological research.
Theological matters are not static and must be continuously addressed as new issues arise, necessitating scholarly reviews and responses. Consequently, the availability of journals dedicated to this endeavor is vital. This scientific-specialist journal seeks to publish the research achievements of scholars in theological fields, particularly Shia theology. Comprising a board of experts in theological-philosophical disciplines, the journal's reviewers are knowledgeable and discerning individuals who evaluate submissions based on rigorous scientific criteria. The journal aspires to earn a scientific degree from the Ministry of Science, Research, and Technology, thus welcoming articles that adhere to stringent academic standards and are rooted in the author's scientific investigations.
To facilitate easy and global access to cutting-edge research findings, the journal is designed as an open-access publication. To support the arbitration and processing costs, the journal charges two million Rials for the initial review and an additional four million Rials upon acceptance, with Allameh Tabatabai University subsidizing the remaining expenses.
Non-Iranian authors are exempt from these charges.
The journal is available both in print and online formats.
